INITIAL CONSULTATION
Happy Dog Spa takes a unique approach to provide gentle grooming based on each individual dog's personality, breed, age, and lifestyle. Are they an athlete, hiking and playing outdoors in the rugged terrain? Or, are they an urban dog, going for walks around the neighborhood and hanging out with their humans? We assess their coat condition and their home grooming situation. We take into account the pups health conditions, tolerance for the grooming process and then base our grooming service recommendations on the whole of the pup and their life.

GENTLE GROOMING PHILOSOPHY
​
OUR SPA is designed to be a soothing, positive experience for each dog. Clients appreciate our appointment system which allows each four legged client to receive individualized, attentive care. With shorter grooming times of up to 3 hours. there are fewer pups in the salon at any one time resulting in a quieter environment.

Aroma therapy and soft background music help reinforce gentle grooming in a calming environment. Your dog will spend lounge time between services in an area all their own for free-roaming or in a large suite. Additionally, we have a Zen Room with suites for pups that are sensitive to the noise of a grooming salon.
We use high quality shampoos and conditioners without heavy perfumes to treat their coat to optimize health. Additional, premium spa treatments are available such as a relaxing massage that can ease pain and stiffness.
REIKI HEALING in our Zen Room is a recent addition to our services. Energy work can provide your pup with support and healing for a variety of physical and emotional issues.
